Little Dragon.

Swedish electro pop giants Little Dragon are coming to Beacons Metro. The gig sees’s Little Dragon come to Leeds as part of their 5th studio album ‘Season High’ tour. The album saw their follow-up to 2014’s Grammy-nominated ‘Nabuma Rubberband’, bringing an effortless fresh and innovative electropop record to their fans. The album only seemed to consolidate the band as veterans in the pop world, with Beacons Metro seeing them bring their polished live show from Coachella to Canal Mills. You do not wanna miss this!

The group will be joined by Com Truise, an American producer from New York. His use of synthesisers and accompanying visuals, immediately take you back to a time of VHS and exercise videos. His synth wave sounds were brought together with the release of his debut album ‘Galactic Melt’, which saw Com Truise’s work reach new heights, with remix’s featuring on the Tron: Legacy Reconfigured album soon after.

Pixx will join this electro-pop lineup, supplying the much needed indie-pop sound to the stage. The British singer’s debut album “An Age of Anxiety” has received much praise, bringing 21-year-old Hannah Rodger’s creativity together into pure cliche-free electropop joy. The Brit School singer is bringing back 90s British Electronic and we can’t get enough of it!

Friday’s bill will be completed with Scottish Producer Makeness, who’s single ’14 drops’ bring together house and techno beats for a dance ready tune. Makeness’ work is driven by melodic bass-line and falsetto vocals, creating a wholesome sound to complete our day of electro-pop joy.
